Diamonds caught the light, champagne flowed and the Mediterranean provided the backdrop as BIG ART Festival returned to Porto Cervo on August 9. At Romazzino, A Belmond Hotel, Maxim Berin brought together an international guest list and a carefully layered programme before Robbie Williams took the stage for the night's spectacular finale.
From Domenico Dolce and Caroline Scheufele to Sylvie Meis and Tara and Jessica Getty, the guest list underlined the evening's connection to fashion, jewellery and international culture.
Few settings could have matched the programme as naturally as Romazzino. The hotel's refined Mediterranean aesthetic and exceptional hospitality gave the evening a sense of intimacy, while Costa Smeralda supplied the cinematic scenery.
Chopard and Caroline's Couture brought diamonds, fashion and craftsmanship into the heart of the programme through two elegant showcases. The presentations became a natural visual extension of the festival's international luxury identity.
The evening also reflected a contemporary idea of luxury through its partnership with DENZA, BYD Group's premium mobility brand. Following the start of the collaboration in Hong Kong in spring 2026, Alessandro Grosso, Italy Country Manager for BYD and DENZA, represented the brand at the Sardinian edition.
Alongside fashion and music came an equally considered gastronomic offering. Adoria Caviar served Beluga, Asetra and Imperial selections, D.Rock Champagne operated a dedicated bar, and La Scolca and Il Palagio by Tony Sasa completed the wine programme.
Host Eleonora Incardona appeared in Chopard jewellery as the programme shifted from refined dinner entertainment to a full celebration. Max Merseny opened the musical sequence and the Esteriore Brothers followed with a dynamic set that had guests dancing.
Robbie Williams provided the crescendo. More than 80 minutes on stage began with 'Let Me Entertain You' and unfolded through a collection of career-defining songs, among them 'Feel' and 'Angels'. The connection with the audience was immediate and gave the performance the spontaneity of a private celebration.
Maxim Berin, CEO of Berin Iglesias Art and Founder of BIG ART Festival, described the evening as a meeting of place, people and performance. "Robbie was brilliant, but the magic came from the way the whole night connected. The audience was incredible and Romazzino gave us a setting of exceptional beauty. We want every BIG ART Festival to leave something behind emotionally, long after the music has stopped."
The next chapter shifts from the Mediterranean to Southeast Asia. On October 10, BIG ART Festival will make its anticipated Singapore debut during Formula 1 weekend at Capitol Kempinski Singapore. Busta Rhymes will headline, continuing the festival's strategy of pairing major artists with internationally significant destinations.
