Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner & Congress Awards | La Dolce Vita | Venice, 11 September 2026 Venice's September calendar is defined by cinema, but some of its most memorable encounters take place beyond the red carpet. On 11 September 2026, Thomas Misse's Royal Gentlemen Club will host the Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner & Congress Awards at Ca' Sagredo Hotel, bringing together international guests for a Black Tie evening themed La Dolce Vita. The Congress Awards, founded by Anna Stukkert, will form a central part of the programme.
Among the names expected in Venice are Eric Adams, the 110th Mayor of New York City, who served from 2022 to 2025, and Alisa Roever, founder of Angels Helpers Foundation. Adams will attend as a Congress Awards laureate and is expected to receive a distinction during the ceremony. Before serving as mayor, he was Brooklyn Borough President and a New York State Senator.
Roever's participation brings philanthropy into the evening's international dialogue. Through Angels Helpers Foundation, her public work is associated with charitable initiatives and bringing communities together around social causes. In the context of the gala, that dimension sits naturally beside the Congress Awards' focus on recognising personalities from public life, business, culture and philanthropy.
The setting is itself part of the story. Ca' Sagredo Hotel occupies a historic 14th-century palazzo directly on Venice's Grand Canal. Rather than treating the palace as a simple venue, Royal Gentlemen Club is building the concept around its atmosphere: historic rooms, Venetian art, Black Tie and the sense of privacy associated with the city's most elegant gatherings. The gala will take place one day before the conclusion of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, scheduled for 2-12 September 2026. Founded in 1932, it is the oldest film festival in the world. During its annual run, Venice becomes a global communications capital for cinema, attracting filmmakers, talent, producers, international media, television crews, photographers and critics. Around the official programme, the city hosts an ecosystem of private receptions, brand activations, dinners and cultural encounters that make Festival week exceptionally valuable for international visibility and networking.
That meeting of cinema and luxury also informs the evening's official jewellery partnership. Oliver Weber Collection will unveil a special presentation of its Dolce Vita Collection. Inspired by Venice, the collection reflects the city's luminous water, architecture, Carnival spirit and red-carpet elegance. Designed in Austria, it combines new Swarovski® crystal colours with the brand's refined forms and handmade character. For Royal Gentlemen Club, La Dolce Vita is therefore more than a dress code or visual theme. It is a way of composing the evening: fewer distractions, stronger conversations, beauty with context and an international guest circle gathered in one of Venice's moststoried settings.
Venice does not announce its guest list. It simply closes the door behind it.
